Karynne Thim

Karynne Thim

Co-Founding Partner

I love what I do and where I live, and feel fortunate to spend every day helping others experience life, invest and flourish here in the South Bay.  My husband and I have lived in Hermosa Beach for over 20 years and have a daughter in college.  She went through elementary and middle school in Hermosa and graduated from Mira Costa, so I have familiarity with both school districts.

In addition to our family home, we’ve invested in income-producing properties (the best investments we’ve ever made!), so I’m a believer in investing for the future and offer a wide range of first-hand knowledge.

One thing I’m not is a high-pressure salesperson. My clients tell me they appreciate my advisory skills and that I’m a one-stop-shopping real estate resource.  I understand the various ever-changing phases of life, family needs and how to live successfully here.

Originally from Arizona, childhood summer vacations to California sparked a lifelong love of the ocean and the beach.  I moved here shortly after graduating from the University of Arizona.  I’ve established deep roots in the South Bay, living in Manhattan Beach, Redondo Beach, San Pedro and Marina del Rey over the years, and often joke that I’ve been doing this so long, that if given an address in Manhattan, Hermosa or Redondo, I can probably envision the homes on any given block!

Working through high school and college, my early career days were dedicated to learning all aspects of real estate.  I worked with various companies that specialized in land speculation, industrial warehouses, condo conversions and shopping centers.  I’ve always been a self-starter and got my first job when I was 14 at a nearby interior design studio, doing odd jobs and accounting (yes, even at 14 I had a knack for numbers!).

Although the world of real estate is fast-paced and I often work long hours in order to provide top-shelf service to my clients, I take time to enjoy time with family, friends and my favorite activities of volleyball, paddle surfing and fundraising for VHL cancer research through a non-profit we founded, the Double Strand VHL Cancer Research Foundation (www.DoubleStrand.org).

Alli Baldocchi

Alli Baldocchi

Alli is the definition of LOCAL.  A 3rd generation Manhattan Beach Native, she knows the South Bay better than most.   Her career in real estate began at a young age placing door hangers for her mom in the neighborhood.  Years later, they became partners and Alli took advantage of her years of expertise.  Walking in her own shoes now, Alli is taking the lead and showing her mom a thing or two, and Susan couldn’t be more proud.

Selling real estate in the South Bay is selling a LIFESTYLE.  A surfer’s daughter, married to a LOCAL and a mom to 3 boys, Alli lives the South Bay lifestyle.  Educating clients why this is the BEST place to live is easy when you have years of memories and stories to tell.

Alli’s ability to connect with others and vast knowledge of the South Bay gives her an edge above the rest.

Alli grew up in Manhattan Beach, attending Grand View Elementary, Manhattan Beach Intermediate (MBI) and graduating from Mira Costa High School.  After graduating from the University of San Diego and living in London for a year, a long and windy career path began.

With a natural gift for design and creativity, Alli was drawn to careers in the fashion industry and interior design.  Although she majored in business and marketing, the need for a creative outlet was always present.

Alli married her husband, Tome, a Hermosa Beach Native, and they live in Manhattan Beach, where they are raising their 3 boys.  Even though they both grew up in the South Bay, times have changed dramatically and trying to keep all the values and teach their boys the way they grew up has been a challenge.

Learning early on that one of their children was diagnosed with Autism, Alli has been an advocate and a loud voice in the South Bay.  Living in a town where perfection is expected, she knows the challenge of raising a child that may be seen as “different”.  Alli embraces her children’s differences and has discovered the beauty in the imperfections of her children.  She was featured in a local South Bay HEALTH magazine where she shares her journey with her children.  Alli has created a blog to share stories with other families who may be experiencing similar challenges, and wrote a book; Not Broken – How My Son with Autism Taught Me to Live.

Being able to connect with others is one of Alli’s greatest gifts.  She is a certified Life Coach and uses her talents to help others everyday.  She takes each Real Estate client under her wing and guides them through the entire process, always becoming friends if not already.  Having grown up in Manhattan Beach, she is able to tutor them on everything from schools, local services and community.  Her design skills come into play and are a tremendous asset to her clients in preparing their home for sale and understanding the potential of each property.  Being able to work side by side with her mom, Susan, is an added gift.  They complement each other and each brings a special perspective to their clients.  They are a seasoned dynamic team and a joy to work with.

Cindy De Garceau

Cindy De Garceau

Cindy is a lifelong South Bay resident with 20+ years of real estate experience. While specializing in real estate sales in the South Bay market, her knowledge and sales experience extends into Westside, Long Beach, Orange County and North County San Diego markets. With a background in Marketing, Sales and managing real estate transactions, Cindy understands the importance of communication, relationship building, planning, problem solving, deadlines and transparency within client relationships.

While no two transactions are identical, Cindy emphasizes a personalized approach for each individual client. She does this by asking important questions, listening and providing feedback and recommendations based on her expertise and 20 years of experience. She has a meticulous eye and spots challenges that may arise before and/or during a transaction. It is this practice that has fueled her success with her loyal, repeat clients and referrals.

Cindy’s clients often say that you can find her underneath a cabinet, touching walls, inspecting closets and examining obscure places around a home during previews, a trait she inherited from her dad. She is adept at quickly approximating improvements and costs that will garner a seller top dollar for their home or save a buyer from hidden financial traps.

Cindy is an avid athlete, Mom and charitable member with deep roots in the South Bay community. She brings great energy, creativity and strong negotiation skills to every opportunity she is a part of. Respect for her clients time, finances and goals are of utmost importance to her. Carissa Wright, Pacifica Properties

Carissa Wright

Carissa can’t recall a time when she wasn’t interested in real estate, often scouring and studying property listings in home magazines even as a kid. Although her education and earlier careers took her in different directions, she eventually took the path her younger self often indulged in. No longer seeing the business through the filter of glossy publications, Carissa views real estate as a service industry career, determined to be present for her clients in as many capacities as possible, even after closing.

Growing up in Greater Los Angeles, Carissa earned a B.S. in kinesiology from California State University, San Marcos. Her previous jobs took her from the bank and nonprofit management to pharmaceutical sales to construction project management and interior design, with the latter two providing her first foray into real estate. She also honed her skill set — including customer service, multitasking, marketing, and communication — in every role, which proved vital for her current career. Carissa obtained her license in 2015 for more flexibility in caring for her newborn daughter. She began helping friends with their housing needs before going full-time in 2017.

In addition to nearly a decade of experience as a real estate professional, Carissa earned her broker license in 2020 and gained top producer recognition. It’s no surprise: She’s full-service in every sense. Understanding the financial and emotional weight of such a life-altering transition, Carissa does all the heavy lifting for her clients so they’re free to focus on their lives. She walks her buyers through the entire process to ensure their comfort and confidence and coordinates all aspects of her sellers’ properties, including vendor management, so they’re market-ready. She loves what she does, evident in her day-and-night work mentality. Carissa’s clients most often note that her unwavering honesty and willing responsiveness were key in making their experience exciting instead of stressful.

Carissa loves staying active with yoga, running, golf, soccer, and beach volleyball. A mom of two, she’s involved in her kids’ school, sports, and other extracurricular activities. Carissa is also very passionate about philanthropy and being involved in the South Bay community; she’s an associate member of Sandpipers, which serves those in need throughout the South Bay.
